What information do I need to prepare before for my website is built?
The majority of text and photos will need to be supplied by the client. This allows me the ability to focus on the design and implementation of those images and the content. I will advise on what photos would be helpful to illustrate your business and how to present your marketing message with the content.
How long will it take to build a website?
A timeline will be presented with the service contract that will reflect my availability and the scope of the project. Usually between one to three weeks once we have signed a contract.
Will my site be visible in Google immediately?
Search Engine Optimization is part of our strategy when writing the website. Included with the design of the site, we will submit your website to google and advise you on strategies you can employ to boost your ranking within Google and other search engines. Your site will be visible in Google within a few weeks after it has launched when the exact name of your business is search for.
How does the general process of building a website work?
When a project is started, you will be asked a series of questions about your business. That will help us
decide upon the size, structure and nature of your site. From that initial conversation we will develop a sitemap or an outline of the website.
After that we will request images and text that you will provide.
